We’ll be at the MARDI GRAS Parade in the Gaslamp Quarters on Tuesday 5 Feb @7:30pm & 10:30 http://www.gaslamp.org/articles/articles/mardi_gras.html

Watch Fox 6 news at 8:00am. There’ll be a Mardi Gras promotion with Federal Funk at Dick’s Last Resort Resturant.

Hey There Federal Funk Family!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!  Xmas has come and gone and its time to bring in the NEW YEAR!  Still wondering what to do for new years?? Come on out to the V Lounge at Viejas Casino and party with Federal Funk and the whole gang.  Do a little gambling and have some dinner than help us bring in the New Year at MIDNITE.  Show time is at 10:00pm at the V Lounge in the newer part of the Casino plus its FREE.  Don’t be confused with the new years party at the DreamCatcher lounge but your more than welcome to party there also however, cover is $100 per person.

 

If you missed our show at Humprey’s Dec 26 it was packed.  We’ve incorporated a number of rare old school tunes such as “Get the Funk out of my Face, Pretty Young Thing, Devotion-EWF, Footsteps in the Dark-Isley Brothers,  Angel-Chaka Kahn, Rapture-Anita Baker and many more”.  We also welcomed our newest band members JD (vocals) and Mike (keyboards) and you get to hear them again at the V-Lounge.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR . . .

If you missed our performance last Saturday you missed an exciting event.  Fred and Teri  celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary and celebrated with family and friends including champagne!  Roc P our sax player was married that afternoon and after their reception he brought his Beautiful Bride and Wedding party over to Viejas and continued to PARTY!  Then Terry T surprised his Girlfriend, Amber by proposing to her on stage on one knee!  Lucky she said YES! (LOL).  Doesn’t get any better than that folks! 

Next performance is in the V Lounge at Viejas on Halloween night.  Wear your costumes its gonna get wild & crazy!
