If you missed our performance last Saturday you missed an exciting event. Fred and Teri celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary and celebrated with family and friends including champagne! Roc P our sax player was married that afternoon and after their reception he brought his Beautiful Bride and Wedding party over to Viejas and continued to PARTY! Then Terry T surprised his Girlfriend, Amber by proposing to her on stage on one knee! Lucky she said YES! (LOL). Doesn’t get any better than that folks!
Next performance is in the V Lounge at Viejas on Halloween night. Wear your costumes its gonna get wild & crazy!
Originating out of San Diego, Federal Funk delivers an exciting and funky level of musical entertainment. This 7 to 10 piece show band provides music that will appeal to any audience young and old. Covering all ranges of musical styles. The bands forte is Bringing Back The Funk, playing old school treasures from the 70s when music and Lyrics were wholesome, pure, and funky.
Federal Funk has entertained clientele at before and after concerts for renowned artist such as Pattie Labelle, Gladys Knight and Al Green. Setting them apart from other bands is their unique blend of musicians with gospel roots. A music lover cant help but hear and feel a distinct groove and the fusion of R&B, Jazz and Funk. Their soulful vocals deliver a unique and charismatic presence on stage at all times. You will also be amazed listening to Federal Funk’s horn section known as “The Triple Threat”.
Federal Funk will guarantee you no backing or prerecorded tracks but 100% live unaltered talent and entertainment.
